High-end Inside the park Owner-run

Silvan runs one Suite rate of R42,235 per person sharing across its published rack-rate period rather than distinct 2026 and 2027 figures, plus a separate Family Suite at R142,555 a night for the whole unit and a fully exclusive-use option for the property at R434,810 a night for up to 14 guests with two private vehicles. Two daily guided drives, walking safaris and transfers from the lodge's own airstrip are included. Conservation and Sabi Sand entrance fees are named as excluded but no rand figure is given anywhere on the site.

Why you'd pick it

  • Publishes one combined rate table spanning March 2025 to February 2027, not separate calendar-year figures
  • The whole property can be booked exclusively for up to 14 guests with two private Land Rovers
  • Names conservation and entrance fees as excluded without stating an amount

Rates

From R42,235 pppn (Suite). Silvan publishes one combined rack-rate table covering 1 March 2025 to 28 February 2027 rather than separate 2026 and 2027 figures, with a festive exclusion from 20 December to 6 January. Suite: R42,235 per person sharing. Family Suite (sleeps up to 4): R142,555 a night for the whole unit, not per person. Exclusive Use of the whole property (up to 14 guests, two private Land Rovers): R434,810 a night, also a whole-unit rate. VAT included. Converted at 1 USD = 17.6 ZAR on 16 September 2026, the Suite rate is about $2,400; the Family Suite and Exclusive Use figures are not converted to a per-person number because they are whole-unit rates. Conservation and entrance fees are named as excluded but no amount is stated; based on the Suite rate, that likely falls in the reserve's top Tier 1 band (about R957 per person per night in 2026), but confirm with the lodge.

What the rate covers is not confirmed. We do not know yet whether meals, drinks and activities are included, so read this as the bed only.

Every figure on this page is in US dollars.

Rates and fees come from each lodge's own website, read 16 September 2026, cross-checked against the Sabi Sand Wildtuin's own published Guest Conservation Contribution and access fees at sabisand.co.za (the landowners' association, spelled without an 's') and against a reserve overview compiled the same day. Two booking-agent microsites, sabisands.com and sabisands.co.za (both spelled with an 's', unrelated to the association), were checked for cross-reference only and are not used as a source for any rate or levy figure. Ulusaba's own site quotes no nightly rate for its three lodges, so those are recorded as rates on request. Sabi Sabi and MalaMala are not on the Sabi Sand Wildtuin's own lodge list, and neither states whether the reserve's own conservation contribution applies to a stay there; both maintain their own separate levy or none at all, as noted lodge by lodge.
