Visit Sabi Sands

Guides, lodges and operators

Get listed on Visit Sabi Sands

If you work at Sabi Sand Game Reserve, we would like you on here. A basic listing is free, travellers contact you directly, and for operators who want more there is more: editorial features made together, and soon direct enquiries through the guide.

Guides and rangers

Put your name on the noticeboard

We list local guides and rangers by name, with your own photo, what you are good at, your vehicle and how to reach you. No operator sits in between. There is a form because it saves you writing an email from scratch, and it takes about six minutes.

We check your licence with the authority before your profile goes up, and the number itself is never published.

Lodges, camps and campsites

Fix your entry, or add your photos

Every place to stay at Sabi Sand Game Reserve is already listed, whether or not you asked us to, because leaving somewhere out would make the guide worse. What we usually get wrong is what changed since we last looked.

  • Photographs. Most entries show an illustration because we do not have a photograph yet. Send us yours with a line saying we may use them and we will swap it the same week.
  • Rates. Tell us what a bed actually costs now, and whether that is per person or per room. We publish the figure you give us.
  • Anything wrong. Rooms, seasons, who owns you, whether you are open at all. We will say when we last checked.

Activity and transfer operators

Balloons, boats, walks, transfers, culture

Our activity pages describe what the park permits and what it costs. What they do not yet do is tell a traveller who to call. If you run something bookable at Sabi Sand Game Reserve, we want the name and the number.

  • What you run, and the months you actually run it in.
  • What it costs, and whether park fees are included.
  • Any licence or permit you hold, and who issued it.
  • How people reach you: WhatsApp is fine, and usually better than a website.

Working together

Beyond the listing

The listing keeps your facts straight. These are the two things on top of it.

  • Editorial features, made together. A piece we write with you and you approve: three days at your camp, the walking circuit you run, how a day with your guides actually goes. It carries a collaboration label, sits on the pages travellers already read, and stays up. $450 a piece. Run several camps, or want something across more than one of our guides? Write to us and we will price it for what it is.
  • Direct enquiries and bookings (coming). Travellers already write to us with dates in hand, and we already pass serious ones on. We are building that into a proper channel through these guides. If you want to be in the first group when it opens, say so and you are on the list.
