Inyati is one of the more transparent lodges on fees in the west-central sector: R16,500 per person sharing in 2026, R18,500 in 2027, VAT included, and its own Guest Conservation Contribution stated plainly at R310.13 per person per night, capped at three nights regardless of stay length and invoiced separately from the room rate. Eleven air-conditioned chalets, three of them family units, come with two daily drives, walking safaris and a house drinks selection. Inyati does not publish a traversing figure of its own.

What the rate covers is not confirmed. We do not know yet whether meals, drinks and activities are included, so read this as the bed only.

Rates and fees come from each lodge's own website, read 16 September 2026, cross-checked against the Sabi Sand Wildtuin's own published Guest Conservation Contribution and access fees at sabisand.co.za (the landowners' association, spelled without an 's') and against a reserve overview compiled the same day. Two booking-agent microsites, sabisands.com and sabisands.co.za (both spelled with an 's', unrelated to the association), were checked for cross-reference only and are not used as a source for any rate or levy figure. Ulusaba's own site quotes no nightly rate for its three lodges, so those are recorded as rates on request. Sabi Sabi and MalaMala are not on the Sabi Sand Wildtuin's own lodge list, and neither states whether the reserve's own conservation contribution applies to a stay there; both maintain their own separate levy or none at all, as noted lodge by lodge.

Is Inyati good for families?
Inyati has three Luxury Family Chalets alongside eight Luxury Chalets, but we found no published minimum age or wider child policy, so ask what applies when you book. Chalets are air-conditioned with outdoor showers, and laundry is available for a fee if you are travelling with children.
What does the rate at Inyati include?
Inyati's 2026 rate of R16,500 per person sharing includes VAT, and the lodge states its own Guest Conservation Contribution openly at R310.13 per person per night, capped at a maximum of three nights even on a longer stay and invoiced separately. Can you self-drive to Inyati?
Inyati's own site does not publish an airstrip name, a transfer time or a self-drive route. Sabi Sand is a private reserve, so in any case you could only self-drive to the lodge itself, not around the reserve, and every game drive then runs through Inyati's own guides and vehicles. Confirm arrival logistics directly with the lodge.
