Chitwa Chitwa sits on the reserve's largest dam in the northern sector. Its own site quotes rates in rand but shows them converted to euros, from about EUR 1,451 per person sharing in 2026 to EUR 1,589 in 2027, with a separate exclusive-use villa, Chitwa House, at EUR 8,499 to EUR 9,306 a night for two suites. No conservation levy figure is published anywhere on the site. The lodge's own about page cites the reserve's total 65,000 hectares rather than its own traversing area, so it does not publish a lodge-specific traversing figure.

Chitwa Chitwa charges in rand, but its own rates page defaulted to an EUR 'indicative conversion' when we checked on 16 September 2026 and we could not switch it to the underlying ZAR figures. As displayed: Chitwa Suites from EUR 1,451 per person sharing in 2026, rising to EUR 1,589 in 2027; the 2-suite Chitwa House runs EUR 8,499 a night in 2026, EUR 9,306 in 2027, for the whole villa. Because the true rand rate was not available, we have not converted these to US dollars, and no price_usd is given.
What the rate covers is not confirmed. We do not know yet whether meals, drinks and activities are included, so read this as the bed only.

Rates and fees come from each lodge's own website, read 16 September 2026, cross-checked against the Sabi Sand Wildtuin's own published Guest Conservation Contribution and access fees at sabisand.co.za (the landowners' association, spelled without an 's') and against a reserve overview compiled the same day. Two booking-agent microsites, sabisands.com and sabisands.co.za (both spelled with an 's', unrelated to the association), were checked for cross-reference only and are not used as a source for any rate or levy figure. Ulusaba's own site quotes no nightly rate for its three lodges, so those are recorded as rates on request. Sabi Sabi and MalaMala are not on the Sabi Sand Wildtuin's own lodge list, and neither states whether the reserve's own conservation contribution applies to a stay there; both maintain their own separate levy or none at all, as noted lodge by lodge.
